MobyLoan along with other responsible lenders hold a Consumer Credit Licence and are registered with the Office of Fair Trading. We adhere to the Data Protection Act and Money Laundering Regulations. It is also worth noting that responsible lenders often belong to one of the main trade associations (BCCA, CCTA, CFA and CCA), all of whom promote best practice with in the industry.
We strive to be transparent and understandable in all of our communications and agreements. When vetting your application for a payday loan we process all of the personal, employment and banking information you provide to us, and may contact you for further verification before making the decision.
We understand that your circumstances may change after you have taken out a loan and that you may experience difficulties in meeting your repayment commitment to us. Once you advise us we will work with you to find an acceptable solution to the repayment of the default account. Please remember it is your responsibility to keep us abreast of your situation - should you fail to advise us of your change of circumstances you will incur charges relating to the management of your default account. It is in your best interests to call or email us at the earliest opportunity to make us aware of any potential problems.
